LUCIE, Fla. - Jeff Coston shot a 6-under 66 on Friday for a share of the lead with Frank Esposito Jr. in the Senior PGA Professional National Championship.The 59-year-old Coston, a PGA teaching professional at Semiahmoo in Blaine, Washington, had eight birdies and two bogeys on PGA Golf Clubs Wanamaker Course to match Esposito at 10-under 134. Coston won the 2006 tournament.The 51-year-old Esposito, the PGA head professional at Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park, New Jersey, bogeyed the final two holes on the Wanamaker Course for a 70. Coston and Esposito matched the 36-hole record set by Reed Hughes in 2006.The low 35 Sunday will earn spots in the Senior PGA Championship in Mat at French Lick (Indiana) Resort.
