SAN DIEGO - A person familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press that right-hander Jason Hammel has agreed to a $20 million, two-year contract to return to the Chicago Cubs.The person spoke on condition of anonymity Monday because the agreement had not yet been announced.Hammels deal includes a $12 million club option for 2017 with a $2 million buyout.
