Nathan Beaulieu and Christian Thomas had a goal and an assist apiece for the Bulldogs (9-7-3), who used their power play to supply all of their offence, and Martin St. Pierre tacked on two assists. Greg Pateryn added a single goal to round out Hamiltons scoring. Nikita Nesterov led the Crunch (9-6-2) with seven shots on goal while Cedrick Desjardins turned away 30-of-33 shots in defeat. Tokarski kept his club in the game early by turning away 15 shots in the first period.
