VANCOUVER -- The Vancouver Whitecaps have waived defender Adam Clement. Clement, 22, joined the Whitecaps on March 14 after being selected 31st overall in the 2013 MLS supplemental draft. The native of Erie, Pa., played in 10 reserve matches and made nine appearances with the clubs United Soccer League Premier Development League under-23 side. Prior to joining the Whitecaps, Clement played four seasons of NCAA Division I soccer with the Duquesne University Dukes.
