SANTA CLARA, Calif. Cheap Air Max 270 Mens . -- Colin Kaepernick insists he just happened to pull on a pair of socks with dollar bill prints all over them Wednesday morning -- before he learned he had struck a new fortune with the San Francisco 49ers. "I had these on before I found out," he quipped. "Luck of the draw." In the tattooed quarterback, the Niners have their franchise man for the long haul. One of the NFLs most dynamic young playcallers, Kaepernick received a $126 million, six-year contract extension Wednesday that keeps him with the organization through the 2020 season. The deal includes $61 million in guaranteed money, a person with knowledge of the contract said, speaking on condition of anonymity because terms werent disclosed. The sides had made it a top priority to get a deal done before the start of training camp next month. "They were able to get it done six weeks earlier than what I think everyone thought," Kaepernick said. "Im very excited to have it done at this point and we dont have to worry about talks or anything like that moving forward." Kaepernick, whose quick ascent to the ranks of the NFLs elite under centre has earned him rock star status, had been due to make less than $1 million this season. Now, the 26-year-old Kaepernick instantly becomes one of the leagues richest stars. "Im always striving to be in that group. An elite group in the NFL. Not necessarily pay, but as far as a player. Whatever comes along with that comes along with it," Kaepernick said. "Im very grateful for it. ... I dont think my motivation is money-driven." Since taking over the starting job from Alex Smith two years ago, Kaepernick led the 49ers to their first Super Bowl in 18 years after the 2012 season -- losing by three points to Baltimore -- and then to the NFC championship game last season, a three-point defeat to the rival and eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Kaepernick even offered a shoutout to 2005 No. 1 overall draft pick Smith, saying, "I dont think I would be able to be at this point so quickly if he hadnt been such a great mentor to me and helped me along with things." Kaepernicks next mission: "Trying to win as many Super Bowls as I can," he said. "I think thats your goal as a player to try to win a Super Bowl every year that youre playing." A second-round draft pick out of Nevada in 2011, Kaepernick has thrived under former NFL quarterback Jim Harbaugh -- and the coach has said how much he wants the mobile, strong-armed QB around for the long haul. Accomplishing an extension before the season is a big deal as the team begins its first year in $1.2 billion Levis Stadium at team headquarters. "I really expect a real breakout year for Colin. Athletically, he looks bionic," Harbaugh said during the organized team activity last week. "If you all remember The Six Million Dollar Man, thats what it looks like to me. Hes very gifted and he always has been. He has the look and feel of a guy whos really going to break out, even more so than he already has. Im really excited about everything about his game right now." Greetings and kind words came via Twitter posts from teammates. "Congrats to my boy (at)kaepernick7 on the extension! (hashtag)deserving (hashtag)hardestworkingdudeiknow," wrote fullback Bruce Miller. In a sensational playoff debut in January 2013 against Green Bay, Kap -- as they call him -- used his speedy legs to run for a quarterback playoff-record 181 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Then, in a season-opening win against the Packers last September, the strong-armed San Francisco QB threw for a career-best 412 yards and three scores. "Colins hard work and dedication have played an integral role in the recent success of the 49ers organization," 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement. "His work ethic, leadership and on-field production have positively influenced our team, and we look forward to his continued growth in all areas. Our organization always looks to reward our players for their contributions and commitment to the team." Harbaugh remained optimistic of getting a new deal done, while Kaepernick said his only focus was on football and he was leaving it to his agents to do the rest. The quarterback had said he sought a "fair" deal. He is regularly the first to arrive at work each morning and the last one off the field. Kaepernick has completed 382 of 639 passes for 5,046 yards and 31 touchdowns. He also has started all six post-season games in which he has appeared, earning four wins and passing for 1,374 yards and seven touchdowns. Kaepernick said last week he hopes a Miami investigation from April that names him will soon be over. He said that matter didnt affect his thoughts about whether it would affect the extension. "That wasnt something I was worried about," Kaepernick said. "I let my agents handle all the talking." Last month, Miami Police released two calls to a 911 dispatcher saying a woman identifying herself as Jesus was lying naked in a bed and refusing to leave. The callers said the woman wanted to spend time with a third man who wasnt there. Police say the players also involved in the case are 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton and Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette. None of them has been charged with any wrongdoing. "Were just really thrilled for the Kaepernick family. Theyre amazing people," agent Scott Smith said after Kaepernicks news conference. "Were just so happy for them. Were really grateful of all the hard work the 49ers put into it." So, about his timely sock selection? "To be honest, one of my friends gave them to me, gave me a box of socks," he said. "No idea what brand or what company, but they were in my drawer." Cheap Air Max 270 China . "I wouldnt read anything into what happened Saturday at Torrey Pines," Woods said Tuesday after an 18-hole exhibition for past winners of the Dubai Desert Classic. The Calgary Stampeders announced both moves on Wednesday. Parker played 17 regular season games with the Stampeders in 2013, setting career-highs in catches (21) and yards (217).MONTREAL -- If there is a team in MLS that gives the Montreal Impact headaches, it is the Columbus Crew. The Impact looked to be cruising to a win after Marco Di Vaios Major League Soccer-leading 18th goal in the 23rd minute when the crafty Federico Higuain went to work, setting up a pair of second-half goals in the Crews 2-1 comeback victory on Saturday afternoon. Defender Chad Marshall and striker Dominic Oduro scored for Columbus (10-14-5), which has been a thorn in Montreals side this season. The Crew, who handed the Impact only their second home loss of the season, won the season series with Montreal 2-0-1, taking five of six points at Saputo Stadium. Impact coach Marco Schallibaum uses the French term "bete noire" to describe Columbus, which his players know means nemesis. "Its football -- you always have a bete noire," said Schallibaum. "Its very hard to explain." This one was straightforward. The Impact wasted several chances to make it a 2-0 game, and pushed so hard for a second goal that they left themselves open for talent like Higuain to make them pay. The first was a smartly curled free kick that found Marshalls head on the left side of the penalty area in the 66th minute to tie the game. The second came after Justin Mapp lost the ball in the midfield and Higuain sent a perfect pass that the onrushing Oduro got a toe on in the 79th. "Its difficult to explain, but every time we play against Columbus its a difficult game for us," said Impact defender Matteo Ferrari. "We started well. "In the second half, we were in control and also had some chances. It was important to score the second goal and we didnt. They got the second goal with a mistake in the midfield and then it was difficult to come back." The game-winner was Oduros 10th of the season, including one in each game against Montreal. "It looks like I have their number, but at the end of the day, we just played well," said Oduro. "We wanted to get a result and we did. We played well and made it happen." Montreal (13-8-6), which entered the day in a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference, ended a four-game unbeaten run with a game they should have had salted away by the intermission. The Impact got the early lead Patrice Bernier lofted a pass over the penalty area to Ferrari, who headed into the middle for Di Vaio to nod in for his seventh goal in the last five games. But Mapp was stopped from point blank by Matt Lampson in the opening minutes, captain Davy Arnaud just missed converting a Di Vaio pass, Felipe Martins froze on a chance from close range, Di Vaio wasted one when he cut left instead of shooting, and Jeb Brovsky was stopped by a diving save at the end of the half. Di Vaio had another chance early in the second half, but was stopped. "I dont think they were hungrier than us, I just think our focus was maybe too much on getting the second goal and we didnt do a good enough job covering space when we were going forward," said midfielder Collen Warner. It was a game they were counting on to win. Schallibaum started his first 11, not saving any veterans for a key CONCACAF Champions League game in San Jose on Tuesday night. "Its very disappointing," said Arnaud. "I thought we created a ton of chances. "We could have put the game out of reach. We talked before the game about how dangerous they are on set pieces and it hurt us because they got back in the game on a set piece." It all added up to another setback against Columbus, a team that lost eight of 11 games before making a coaching change on Sept. 2. Interim coach Brian Bliss has two wins and a loss since taking over. Now the Crew hope to put a streak together to try to climb back into the playoff hunt. They are on the tail of Chicago, Houston and England for fifth place and final a post-season berth. "This was critical to our goal of getting a playoff spot," said Bliss. "Now weve put some pressure on some teams that are ahead of us." Montreal resumes league play Saturday against the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps. ' ' '
