The Brewers believe that Roenicke can get the team back on track after a 74-88 record in 2013. "Last season was a difficult one, and Ron provided critical leadership with confidence and assurance that the Brewers can get back to the postseason." Roenicke is heading into his fourth season as the manager of the Brewers, compiling a 253-233 record in his first three.
