The Pittsburgh Penguins tweeted Tuesday morning that after seeking additional medical advice, doctors have decided that the star centre will not need surgery on his injured wrist. Instead, Crosby will continue treatments during the off-season and be evaluated regularly before training camp starts in September. Last week, a report from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said that Crosby was set to have minor arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist.
