INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts started and finished Tuesdays free agent binge by re-signing their own key players. Nmd Sko Udsalg . In between, they added defensive lineman Arthur Jones -- and it may be just the start. On a busy first day of free agency for the big-spending Colts, the emphasis was clear: They need to get better on defence. "He is a rare talent at 25 years of age who is still ascending as a player," general manager Ryan Grigson said in a statement announcing the deal with Davis. "We are excited to see him reach new heights in his career and help us attain our ultimate goal." For the Colts, the splashy grand entrance into free agency is becoming an annual affair. Last year, Indianapolis signed five high-priced unrestricted free agents on Day 1. On Tuesday, they focused on keeping their own players, agreeing to a two-year deal with longtime kicker Adam Vinatieri in the morning and a four-year deal with Davis in the afternoon before re-signing running back Ahmad Bradshaw. But Indy couldnt even wait that long to get started. Last Thursday, the Colts signed former Browns linebacker DQwell Jackson to a four-year deal. The next day, they re-signed punter Pat McAfee to a new five-year deal. On Monday, the Colts announced they had re-signed two more of their own free agents, defensive end Fili Moala and linebacker Justin Hickman. Then came word of Vinatieris deal, which virtually assures the best clutch kicker in league history will remain the oldest player in the league in 2014 and 2015 and could make him a Colt for life. The 41-year-old Vinatieri said other teams were interested though the Colts were his first choice. "For me, as long as my bodys feeling healthy and I can continue to kick at a high level, I dont see why I cant continue to play on. I know Morten (Andersen) played until he was 47. I think Gary (Anderson) played until he was 46. I know Im 41 but in that sense, theres a handful of years left, not just two." Davis felt much the same way. After Miami traded Davis to Indy just before the 2012 season opener, the former first-round pick emerged as the Colts top cover cornerback. Most outsiders figured that with the price of cornerbacks rising considerably after Sam Shields signed a big deal with Green Bay and Brent Grimes signed a big deal with Miami, Davis was as good as gone if he didnt re-sign before the free agent market opened Tuesday afternoon. Not so. "My agent informed me that the Colts came in and we had an offer that we accepted," Davis said. "In reality, I didnt want to leave the Colts. I listened to other teams, but I wanted to get back (to Indy), so we made it work." Financial terms of the four deals were not immediately available. Indy also signed Jones, a 6-foot-3, 315-pound defensive end, who played his first two seasons in Baltimore when Colts coach Chuck Pagano was an assistant with the Ravens. Last season, Jones started a career high 13 games, finished with a career best 53 tackles and had four sacks. Hes big enough to play inside or outside in the Colts 3-4 front, but the Colts wanted Jones for more than just versatility. "He is an outstanding producer down after down versus the run and pass," Grigson said. "Hes a guy who plays at a championship level week after week and lays it on the line every time he steps out on the field. He is a great fit for our team." Jones is expected to undergo a team physical Wednesday. Bradshaw was off to a promising start last season after recovering from a foot injury, which led to his departure from the Giants. He rushed for 186 yards and two scores before injuring his neck in Week 3 against San Francisco in September. Bradshaw never returned from that injury and finished the season on injured reserve. Whats next for a team that started the day roughly $36 million under the $133 million salary cap is anybodys guess. The Colts are still looking to solidify their offensive line, especially after releasing starting centre Samson Satele late last week to save about $4 million. They could still use another pass rusher to help NFL sacks champion Robert Mathis; are likely still seeking a receiver to help Andrew Luck; and might now need a safety after losing two-time Pro Bowler Antoine Bethea to San Francisco. But what Indianapolis does have is stability. "If there wasnt a business side in football, I would still choose to go back to the Colts," Davis said. "When you go to the Colts, man, its something you hold with you for the rest of your life." Nmd Sko Salg . It looked like being another miserable day for Moyes when Ashley Westwood put Villa in front from a 13th-minute free kick. But Rooney headed United level seven minutes later, and the striker netted his 16th of the season for the struggling champions from the penalty spot before halftime. The Toronto Argonauts signed the veteran linebacker to a three-year deal Tuesday, hours after the start of CFL free agency.Watford are preparing to face Liverpool on Nissan Super Sunday, and a trip to Anfield stirs Hornets strikers past and present in Tommy Mooney and Troy Deeney. Mooney scored his first Premier League goal at Anfield as newly-promoted Watford sealed a maiden top-flight win of the 1999/2000 campaign, while Deeney heads for Merseyside hunting his 100th goal for the club. Deeney became the first player in Watfords history to hit the 20-goal mark in three successive seasons, but can trace his success to early days at Walsall under Mooneys watchful eye. Ahead of Sundays clash, Sky Sports got the mentor and his protege back together to talk old memories and fresh hopes... Troy Deeney chatted with former mentor and Watford striker Tommy Mooney Tommy Mooney: Youve got a big game this weekend at Liverpool - a difficult game at any stage in the season. I remember going there in 1999 - we came out of the train station and the taxi drivers were laughing at us. Like lambs to the slaughter! they said. But we won 1-0; first win in the Premier League, my first goal in the Premier League - and at the Kop end. Troy Deeney: Im trying to get my 100th Watford goal there! So this is a big game for you personally, as well as the club. Its massive. We beat them at our place last year then we had them in the final few games of last season. They were kind of concentrating on the Europa League final and we were more or less packing for our holidays. We went there with not as much aggression as we normally would have and I came away feeling a bit disappointed. Premier League Vault | Liverpool 0-1 Watford 1999 Its massive playing in front of the Kop. Liverpools one of the few grounds - Newcastle, Villa, too - where Ive got a proper buzz. Its a completely different Liverpool team - theyre running everywhere, scoring goals - so its going to be a massive test but were coming into it on decent form ourselves and we know we can have a right good go because then its the international break. But you play at 100 per cent every week dont you?I try my best! Im not as blessed technically as some of the other guys but what I am good at is roughing people up and making it tough for people. Its about the team winning but if I can score at Liverpool, itd be quite fitting that you scored your first Premier League goal there and Im scoring my 100th. That Liverpool goal, was it your greatest goalscoring achievement? Current Hornets skipper Deeney is one goal away from his century for the club It was really special. Because it was our first win, thats great for the team, but as a Liverpool supporter as a kid, to get a goal and have a day like we did... You had the highs of that game but the season didnt pan out how you would have wanted personally, and Watford came straight back down. Do you look back and think, What if?You do at the time. I had a great week, scoring against Liverpool and Bradford, but then a few weeks later against Chelsea I injured my knee in a tackle with Marcel Desailly. I wasnt happy about it and Im still not! I missed seven-and-a-half months. It was difficult not being able to influence the dressing room and by the time I was fit, we were relegated. It was a difficult season but I played in the Premier League, scored, achieved what we did to get there. Theres a lot of pressure on the No 9, isnt there? Liverpool vs Watford November 6, 2016, 1:30pm Live on Get Sky Sports Get a Sky Sports pass There is but its good fun. I obviously speak to you quite often and others who used to be in the game say, Enjoy it whiile you can. Nmd Xr4 Norge. Its never been about financial reward, of course it helps, but youve always got the thought it could end tomorrow.I remember getting a call from Richard Money at Walsall asking if Id like to come and play for a season. Im 36, its near home, he said he had a young lad he thought I could help - very raw but works hard. What do you remember about that?I remember you were at Wycombe the year before and he made me do a report on you - great movement, gets to the back post, doesnt look the quickest! I was young and a bit naive then. Im still learning now but when you met me I was playing football on the estate with my mates. Mooney scored 65 goals in 288 appearances for Watford You werent really like a normal 19-year-old; Id seen a lot doing the big I am but you were like a sponge and you were respectful.Im a student, essentially. The games moved on a bit - the kids are getting a lot more money - but the grounding I got made me focused and appreciate what Id got. I might not have wanted to carry on if it wasnt for all those lifts, though! Its your hard work thats got you through. It pains me to say it but youre probably more popular than I was as the Watford No 9! How do you assess the season so far? Watford 1-0 Hull Were doing alright. Weve been told about the second-season syndrome. Hopefully we can finish higher than last season but its a case of getting to 40 points as quickly as possible. The new manager is a bit old-school; he likes people getting kicked in training! He likes the intensity. I love him. He keeps it really professional and if the standards drop, like they did against Burnley, he picks it right up. Its a different style of training but I think the boys have adjusted now.As a former centre-forward Im not going to ask what your goal target is because that used to annoy me, but the way the team are playing, are you still confident there are goals there for you? Football Score Centre Sky Sports customers can watch Premier League goals and highlights every weekend at no extra cost. Yes. I think the one thing weve got this season is goals all over; last season it was just me and Iggy (Odion Ighalo). Etienne Capoue, Roberto Pereyra are scoring, Daryl Janmaat doesnt get as much credit as he deserves and has a few goals in him. This year Ive got my eye on the goal record.I dont think Im going to be in the position to have loads of trophies in my career but Id like to be able to say I was the third, second-highest goalscorer for Watford. I might have a tough time catching Luther Blissetts 186, though!I havent scored at Anfield. Like Old Trafford or the old Wembley, its got that prestige. My nan is a Liverpool fan, so I hope I can do it there and write my name into history but also do it on a massive stage against a team thats flying. Deeney spent four years at Walsall with Mooney also at the club in the 2007/08 season Ignore the tax drivers! Enjoy the atmosphere and the anthem. Its spine-tingling but when the whistle goes its down to work. Whats the secrets to winning at Anfield? Im not sure there is one. From our point of view, you cant fear them. Theyve got some brilliant footballers so you have to have a bit of respect but on the day youre just 11 footballers versus 11 footballers. I know if Im a handful its going to take more than one of them to stop me.Watch Tommy Mooneys chat with Troy Deeney in the build-up to Liverpool v Watford - 2.15pm kick-off - live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 1.30pm on Super Sunday.
